Kansas City, MO – Heartland Black Chamber of Commerce will host its Annual Luncheon and Business with Heart Awards on Wednesday, April 26 at the Gallery Event Space, 61 East 14th Street, Kansas City, Missouri, “It takes heart to start and lead a business. We want to showcase that passion, pride and perseverance that our members, corporate partners and our awardees illustrate in their professional life as well as encourage and inspire the next generation of business leaders and entrepreneurs,” states Christal Watson, President/CEO of Heartland Black Chamber of Commerce.
This year’s luncheon theme is Black Business Matters, featuring business and technology entrepreneur, academic scholar, author and reality television star Dr. Randall D. Pinkett, “The luncheon is an excellent opportunity for businesses of all sizes to learn from Dr. Pickett’s vast experience as a business leader, federal contract vendor and winner of NBC’s Apprentice with Donald Trump; as well as, make new connections, grow relationships and promote their brands.”
“Also, at this year’s luncheon, we will posthumously make a lifetime achievement presentation to one of the metro area’s leaders of diversity and inclusion, Mrs. Mary Ann Flunder; as well as, launch our membership drive and introduce our new Entrepreneur Business Basics workshop,” Mrs. Watson states.
