Benton House/Hunt Midwest announce Community Relations Director

Benton House of Staley Hills Senior Living Community announces the addition of ShyAnne Forstner as Community Relations Director. ShyAnne brings a broad range of experience to this community, including assisting with the opening of several other Benton House locations in the area.

ShyAnne has a bachelor’s degree in anthropology and 20 years of experience in sales and marketing, including 11 years serving seniors. Since joining the healthcare industry in 2006, she has developed a true passion for helping seniors find the community with the best fit for their needs and that provides their required level of care. She considers helping families her “mission”. Forstner stated, “Assisting families in their time of need, which is often also a time of crisis, is my greatest honor. I find it humbling that families would place their trust in me to help during such a time of transition.”

In addition to a busy work schedule, ShyAnne enjoys spending time outdoors, fishing, camping and practicing archery with her family. Forstner considers herself a Kansas City “Northlander” and is thrilled to be working to assist seniors and their families in the area she calls home.

Benton House of Staley Hills is one of the the area’s newest senior living communities and a joint venture between Hunt Midwest and Principal Senior Living Group. The single story building , with two beautiful courtyards for residents to enjoy, will have 59 apartments in the 37,000 square foot community. Fourteen of the apartments, in a separate exclusive neighborhood, are dedicated to specialized memory care. Benton House will also provide an adult day program and a short-term respite program. Benton House of Staley Hills, located at 11071 N. Woodland Avenue in Kansas City, will officially open for residents this summer. The community is currently taking reservations.
