Ogletree Deakins Elects Adam Pankratz as Shareholder
KANSAS CITY, Mo. – February 10, 2017 – Ogletree, Deakins, Nash, Smoak & Stewart, P.C. (Ogletree Deakins), one of the largest labor and employment law firms representing management, is pleased to announce that Adam Pankratz has been elected to the position of shareholder. Pankratz practices in the firm’s Kansas City office.
For more than a decade, Pankratz has represented corporations and management in a myriad of employment-related and complex commercial matters, including litigation involving discrimination, retaliation, harassment, wage and hour, wrongful termination, Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA) leave issues, and other matters in state and federal courts and administrative agencies. Pankratz also has experience successfully representing employers in executive termination, non-compete and unfair competition disputes.
In his employment counseling practice, Pankratz regularly advises employers regarding workplace policies and procedures, and provides counseling on compliance with applicable federal and state labor and employment laws and regulations.
Pankratz has been named Best of the Bar by the Kansas City Business Journal and has also been recognized as a Super Lawyers Rising Star. Pankratz earned his J.D., cum laude, from Washburn University School of Law.
