Butterfly Beads & Jewelry hosts SoulCollage class in Kansas City, North

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Butterfly Beads and Jewelry, KC North is hosting a class, SoulCollage®, in collaboration with the Northtowne Arts Coalition. Art Therapist Libby Schmanke is facilitating SoulCollage® – a process for accessing your intuition by creating a deck of cards with deep personal meaning that will help you with life's questions and transitions. It is a fun and insightful process of creating unique collaged images that represent aspects of yourself and others who are important to you. It can be done by anyone, regardless of artistic ability or spiritual beliefs.

This introductory workshop will provide an overview of the structure of the four suits of a SoulCollage® deck and allow plenty of hands-on time to start creating your own deck. A packet of handouts and all necessary materials will be provided for a class fee of $50 which includes a sack lunch. The workshop presenter is a trained SoulCollage® facilitator.

Melissa K. Carrel, owner of Butterfly Beads and Jewelry, (a Northland retail store overflowing with stunning, unique, and antique beads, findings and spectacular finished jewelry) is experiencing serious health challenges in this, her first year of owning the store. Melissa’s positive perspective, can-do creativity and all-around dedication to maximizing mind, body and spirit - refuses to let illness keep her down. Her support of NAC and her love for all creative expression led her to host this life-affirming exploration for those who want to experience the thoughtful process of self-discovery that is SoulCollage®. All beading and jewelry enthusiasts owe it to themselves to investigate the enormous selection and magnificent designs that Butterfly Beads and Jewelry stocks.

The class is being held Saturday, May 31st at Butterfly Beads and Jewelry, 206 NE Barry Rd (just west of the intersection at Barry & N Oak Trfcwy) Kansas City, MO 64155

The initial workshop is from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm, with a cap of 6 attendees. If it fills, they will offer another workshop on the same date, from 2:00 to 6:00 pm. Please register online at http://www.NAC-NKC.org.
