FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Lawrence, KS- Wedding bells aren’t usually the first thing to come to mind when thinking of Warrior Dash, an event where participants will enter the Battleground and conquer 12 obstacles over more than three miles of terrain. But, not for Lee’s Summit couple, Garrett Rutledge and Christine Alderson, who intend to dash down the aisle warrior style this Saturday, April 26th, 2014. On Saturday, at Circle S Ranch in Lawrence, KS, the couple, dressed to the nines and dripping with mud and sweat, will tie the knot to vows such as “Having conquered the obstacles of the Warrior Dash, and showing they can laugh through good times and bad, and support each other through peaks and valleys, Garrett and Christine are now prepared to commit to each other fully in marriage and life.” Most newlyweds know that they will face obstacles in life, but this couple contends that weddings should be fun, and they are determined to make a statement that they aren’t scared to face what may come. Warrior Dash, put on by Red Frog Events, is the world’s largest obstacle race series and partners with St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital. www.warriordash.com
