Kansas City, Mo---Off the Floor Woodwork is hosting an Open House for Designers, from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m., on Friday, May 9, 2014,

It's not even St. Patrick's day and two local Irishmen are going green! Father and son, Ian and Kian Byrne, who play music together in Celtic rock band, "The Elders" are now creating wall art at their new store in Waldo, "Off the Floor Woodwork, LLC." The focus is to use the "off fall" wood from it's big brother company, "Byrne Custom Woodworking, Inc.," to create wall art, plantation shutters, and custom furniture and woodwork.

"Off the Floor Woodwork is about re-purposing and creating one of a kind pieces of furniture and art, from natural elements that could have easily ended up in the trash and will be a treasure to our customers," remarked Byrne, Sr.

Off the Floor Woodwork is a local, custom furniture and wall art store using reclaimed and refurbished wood, and definitely a family affair. Upon entering, you will be greeted by sister-in-law and creative designer, Bibi Babcock, daughter Andreina Byrne creates art and works social media, future son-in-law, Joey Privitera uses his magic as graphic artist, while daughter Kaitlin Byrne keeps everyone organized offline and online.

Off the Floor Woodwork is located at 7142 Wornall, KCMO , 64141, and is open Tuesday through Friday, from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and Saturday from Noon. to 4:00 p.m.
