The Kansas City Symphony Alliance, (KCSA), is preparing to host the 45th Symphony Designers’ Showhouse, which is the longest-running, continuous, fundraising Showhouse in the country. The historic Jacobethan home, located at 1246 W. 59th Street, KCMO, was built in 1921, with 8,000 square feet, features 39 interior and exterior spaces.

The Showhouse designers are adding their innovative ideas and creative design techniques along with the latest trends that include colors and patterns utilizing wallpaper, paint and high-end fabric. No longer a trend but a lifestyle, the designers are utilizing green design elements, re-purposing and using eco-friendly products. The total kitchen and bathroom renovation will upgrade and increase the value of the Showhouse.

The Showhouse Spring Tour – will open on Saturday, April 26, 2014, and run through Sunday, May 18, 2014. Tickets are $15 and $18 at the door. The Showhouse Boutique will be filled with jewelry, art, and unique gifts and you can enjoy gourmet coffee and pastries after the tour

“The Kansas City Symphony Alliance takes great pride in the 45th Designers’ Showhouse, that has received national recognition and raised over $5 million dollars to support the Kansas City Symphony, one of the most successful symphonies in the country,” remarked, Don Dagenais, KCSA President.
