Operation Breakthrough Receives 35 Books From Anonymous Donor

Kansas City, MO: An anonymous party purchased thirty-five copies of the book, Yo Hans! Sebastian’s Back! (Rebecca L. Davis) as a philanthropic effort to benefit Operation Breakthrough (3039 Troost Ave, Kansas City, MO 64109). A portion of the sales of this book are returned to Operation Breakthrough as an ongoing effort by the author to support Operation Breakthrough and the children who benefit from the services provided. The books were purchased privately and then donated to staff members at Operation Breakthrough.

According to a source at Operation Breakthrough, the unnamed woman enjoyed the book so much that she wanted to provide a copy to employees of the non profit center. The employees, says our source, were genuinely excited to receive the books. Davis gave the signed copies as well as the proceeds of the sale to Sister Berta for distribution at Operation Breakthrough.

Yo Hans! Sebastian’s Back! is Davis’ second published book. Her first book, Technicolor Hans and Other Events, was also an effort to raise funds for Operation Breakthrough. Davis writes and performs her original material for audiences; returning the proceeds from books she sells to the non profit. Copies of her books are available for purchase at www.technicolorhans.com or by contacting Rebecca Davis at dabeakdavis@yahoo.com.

About Rebecca Davis: Rebecca L. Davis is the author of Technicolor Hans and Other Events and Yo Hans! Sebastian’s Back!.
