AUDITIONS: Pride & Prejudice

The City Theatre of Independence will hold open auditions for the play "Pride & Prejudice" on April 7 and 8.

Jamie Close, Director

Pride and Prejudice is a romantic comedy by Tom Woods adapted from a novel by Jane Austen Premiered at Citadel Theatre, Edmonton, Canada

Seeking 8 men and 8 women (minimum, more can be cast)

Auditions will be held April 7 & 8, 2014 at 7PM in the Roger T. Sermon Community Center at the corner of Truman and Noland Roads in Independence.

The director would like to hear a short memorized piece, no longer than 2 minutes, and will have cold readings from the script.

Be prepared to note all possible conflicts on your audition form. No conflicts are acceptable on performance dates or during tech week beginning Sunday June 1, the Sunday prior to opening night. For the sake of all concerned, I would prefer no conflicts during the last week of May as those will likely be full run rehearsals.
