The purpose is to promote track & field participation while encouraging an active lifestyle and providing a positive environment for participants to have fun and make new friends. The club welcomes participants of all experience levels and is both recreational and competitive depending on the level of competition the various athletes would like to pursue. Qualified coaches provide team and individual instruction during weekly practices and seasonal meets with events including: Sprints, distance running, hurdles, throwing (shot put, javelin & discus); and jumping (long-, triple- and high jump).
