Senior Star at Wexford Place continues Walgreens Speakers' Series

KANSAS CITY, MO (March 6, 2014) – Senior Star at Wexford Place is pleased to host the second Live Well with Walgreens speakers’ series, a new initiative in the Kansas City area. As part of an ongoing educational partnership with Walgreens, Senior Star at Wexford Place will host expert pharmacists who will present a variety of health topics for the community throughout the year.

The free program, on diabetes, will be held on Tuesday, March 18 at 11 a.m. at Senior Star at Wexford Place, 6500 North Cosby Avenue, Kansas City. A pharmacist from Walgreens will speak about the importance of prevention and early warning symptoms of diabetes. The presentation will be followed by a question and answer session. For those attendees who would like to stay for lunch, the dining room will be open immediately following the presentation.
