CVR Refining names Bill Copeland as vice president of crude oil supply

CVR Refining, LP (NYSE: CVRR), a refiner and marketer of petroleum fuels, today announced that Bill Copeland will become the company’s vice president of crude oil supply, effective immediately.

Copeland had been the director of crude supply for CVR Refining subsidiary Coffeyville Resources Refining & Marketing, LLC.

“Bill has helped build our business to what it is today,” said Wyatt Jernigan, executive vice president of crude oil acquisition and petroleum marketing. “He is strongly committed to our customers and provides a high level of service that specifically addresses their unique needs.”

Copeland has more than 30 years of industry experience. For the past 20 years, he has served as a crude oil purchaser for Coffeyville Resources and Farmland Industries. Early in his career, he served as a petroleum landman for Phillips Petroleum Company, Worldwide Energy Corporation and Slawson Exploration Company.

Copeland holds a bachelor’s of business administration degree in petroleum land management from the University of Oklahoma and a master’s degree in finance from the University of Colorado at Denver.
