H&R Block begins seasonal hiring process with Gladstone job fair
Kansas City, MO – Missouri’s unemployment rate is more than 6.5% percent and national unemployment numbers have improved and faltered. H&R Block is doing its part to lower the numbers even more, including starting its seasonal hiring process. The country’s largest tax preparation firm will hold a career fair: •Saturday, December 14th, from 10am to 1pm at 5941 NE Antioch Road in Gladstone, Missouri
H&R Block’s offices in Kansas City and the surrounding area will be hiring for more than 500 receptionist positions. The position is responsible for greeting clients, making sure clients are matched with the best suited tax pro, and scheduling clients. Applicants should bring a resumé, as interviews will be conducted on-site. Bilingual candidates are also encouraged to attend. “Whether serving in a client services role or the role of a tax preparer, our seasonal associates are the face of H&R Block,” said Charlene Naylor, Client Service Leader.
Office positions begin in January and run through April 15th. The part time positions allow for a flexible schedule, ability to earn extra income, bonus potential and opportunity for advancement. Applicants should enjoy working with others and be eager to help people. “We're looking for people who can deliver outstanding client service, and lead and develop people,” Naylor said.
