Roeland Park Aquatic Center plans early or full closures on Dec. 24, 25, and 31, will offer extended open swims on Dec. 26, 27, and 30

The Roeland Park Aquatic Center will close early on Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve for the holidays and will be closed on Christmas Day as well. Following the holiday, the center will offer special open swim hours on Dec. 26, 27, and 30.

The facility, which is located at 4843 Rosewood Drive, Roeland Park, will be closed after 3 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 24 and Tuesday, Dec. 31. The center will also be closed all day in observance of Christmas on Wednesday, Dec. 25.

Special Holiday Swim Hours of 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. will be offered on Thursday, Dec. 26, Friday, Dec. 27, and Monday, Dec. 30. Admission fees for ages three through 59 are $6 for Roeland Park residents, $7 for Johnson County residents, or $8 for nonresidents. For ages 60 and older, the cost is $5.50 for Roeland Park residents, $6.50 for Johnson County residents, or $7.50 for nonresidents. Ages two and under are free. Multi-visit punch cards and annual passes are also available.

The RPAC is owned by the city of Roeland Park and is operated by the Johnson County Park and Recreation District. For information about happenings at the facility, call the aquatics center at (913) 432-1377.
