Join SEA LIFE Kansas City Aquarium This Holiday for SEAson’s Greetings Event

Kansas City, Missouri (November 26, 2013) – SEA LIFE Kansas City Aquarium is getting into the holiday spirit this December with their second annual SEAson’s Greetings event. In addition to the activities in SEAson’s Greetings, guests will be treated to a new activity called “Christmas Down Under” to celebrate the addition of the new Australian sea creatures inside the aquarium.

SEA LIFE Kansas City Aquarium’s Santa Claus will also be diving and interacting with guests between the hours of 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on weekends in December starting December 7th and running through December 22nd.

Guests visiting SEA LIFE Kansas City Aquarium this holiday season can enjoy a number of activities to get them into the holiday spirit. Some of them include: • Australian Safari – Join the Education Specialists in an Australian Safari, searching for the new sea creatures that are inside the Bay of Rays area. • Jellyfish craft – Guests can create their own jellyfish with this adorable craft.
• Storybook Adventure – Trace the telling of a popular holiday story throughout the aquarium with a special SEA LIFE twist. • Fishmas Carol Singing – Join the SEA LIFE Chorus to sing some holiday songs that are slightly different. It won’t be long before families are singing along to “Jelly Bells” and “We Wish You a Merry Fishmas”.

Due to the popularity of SEAson’s Greetings, it is encouraged that guests purchase their tickets online in advanceat who purchase their tickets in advance will receive a discount and priority entry into the attraction.

Operating hours during the holidays are Sunday through Thursday, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., with last admission at 6 p.m. Friday and Saturday 10 a.m. to 9 p.m., with last admission at 7 p.m. Walkup tickets are $19 for adults ages 13 and older, $15 for children ages 3-12 and toddlers 2 and under are free.

SEA LIFE Kansas City takes visitors on an enthralling two hour journey from the fresh waters of the Missouri River, into the mighty Mississippi River then out into the warm blue coral strewn waters of the Caribbean Sea, ending in the deep dark abyss of the Atlantic Ocean. Come nose to nose with sharks and prepare for astonishingly close views of everything from humble starfish and seahorses to graceful rays. In addition, a stunning centerpiece is a huge tropical ocean tank with a walk-through underwater tunnel. To get any closer you’d have to get wet!
