November 26, 2013 – LEGOLAND® Discovery Center Kansas City gears up for the holiday season this year by hosting Holiday Bricktacular through the month of December, beginning this Saturday. This is a great time to visit LEGOLAND Discovery Center to enjoy all of the fun holiday activities and to complete holiday shopping in the LEGO® Store.

The highlight of Holiday Bricktacular is Santa’s Gingerbread Village. Created by LEGOLAND Discovery Center Kansas City’s Master Model Builder, Jeremiah Boehr, Santa’s Gingerbread Village will give young guests an opportunity to decorate a LEGO gingerbread house. Other holiday activities during Holiday Bricktacular include: • Secret Santa MINIFIGURE Trading –Collect one of the rarest LEGO MINIFIGURES, Santa. Every day during December, one LEGOLAND Discovery Center Kansas City employee will hold the coveted MINIFIGURE. To own Santa, young guests will need to bring a MINIFIGURE when they visit and start trading with employees. One lucky person per day may walk away with the Santa MINIFIGURE. • Santa’s Turbo Sleigh Challenge – Young guests can decorate their own Santa sleigh and compete against other guests for the fastest and most creative sleigh in LEGOLAND Discovery Center Kansas City’s Build & Test area. • Santa’s Gingerbread Village – Guests can design their own LEGO gingerbread house and help complete Santa’s Gingerbread Village. • MINILAND Winter Wonderland Scavenger Hunt – Explore Kansas City landmarks and search for special holiday and winter scenes for a chance to win great prizes, two Annual Passes to LEGOLAND Discovery Center Kansas City. • Model Builder Academy Christmas LEGO Build – Guests can learn how to build a LEGO model of Santa’s Sleigh in the Model Builder Academy. • Limited Edition Holiday Brick – Receive a limited edition holiday brick in the LEGO Factory, while supplies last. • Holiday special in the LEGO Store including a free LEGOLAND Discovery Center Annual Pass for every $250 of LEGO merchandise purchased.

Due to the popularity of Holiday Bricktacular, it is encouraged that guests purchase their tickets online in advance at who purchase their tickets in advance will receive a discount and priority entry into the attraction.
