MUSICAL ABOUT AUTISM AT ST. THOMAS MORE SCHOOL
The Jellybean Conspiracy Project is proud to present “No Such Thing as Normal” – A musical about autism, on Monday November 25th at 2:00 and 7:00 pm. The show will be performed by 5th grade students from St. Thomas More School- 11800 Holmes Road, Kansas City, MO 64131. The show is free and open to the public.
“No Such Thing As Normal” is a fun age appropriate musical tailored for elementary music classes about a young child with autism and his everyday quest to feel included by his peers. The script and lyrics educate audiences about autism, including common behavioral characteristics and different ways peers can support those who have autism.
Since 2001, The Jellybean Conspiracy has provided invaluable opportunities to children and young adults with a whole range of abilities. Its mission is to utilize the power of theatre to create a culture of kindness in which individuals with special needs are respectfully included and thoughtfully recognized for their unique contributions to the world.
