"Peter Pan" earns Girl Scout Gold award
Catherine Pestinger, 16 yrs old and a junior at Christ Prep Academy, is completing her Girl Scout Gold Award Project: Don't Miss a Line, this Sat, Nov. 16th during the 2:00 performance of Peter Pan at Trilogy Cultural Arts Center.
Catherine, who is also performing as Peter Pan in the production, is inspired to help the deaf and hard of hearing have an improved experience during live musical theater productions by offering a closed caption show which can assist not only the deaf, but also the growing population of those who are hard of hearing and who don't know sign language.
Trilogy Cultural Arts Center and the Kansas School for the Deaf have partnered with Catherine to make project Don't Miss a Line come to life. Come enjoy a truly unique, one of a kind journey to Neverland.
