Park University to Host Pirate Preview Day for Prospective Students
Park University will host a Pirate Preview Day for prospective students on Saturday, Nov. 16, from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on the University’s Parkville Campus. High school juniors and seniors, as well as transfer students interested in attending Park, are encouraged to bring their families to learn about degree programs, scholarships and financial aid options.
Pirate Preview Days are a chance to visit the University’s historic Parkville Campus and experience what it’s like to live and learn as a Park Pirate. The day begins with an academic fair where faculty and staff from every department are available to speak with prospective students and their families regarding their programs. Students will also hear a presentation from the Office of Admissions and the Office of Student Financial Services, covering everything from the application process, to scholarships and financial aid awards. After these sessions, students will take a tour of the Parkville Campus with one of Park’s student ambassadors, have a chance to apply on-site and join the team for lunch in the Pirate Café.
Park University was founded in 1875, and is a four-year, private, nonprofit, coeducational, liberal arts institution with degree programs that are fully accredited by the Higher Learning Commission, a member of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools. As a private institution, Park's classes are small and engaging. Professors provide personal attention and prepare students for lifelong learning.
Interested parties must reserve a spot through the Office of Admissions at (816) 746-2533 or firstname.lastname@example.org. For more information, visit www.park.edu/admissions.
