Kansas City’s premier archery coaching organization wants to teach you how to shoot a bow

Ever wanted to shoot a bow & arrow? C.B.A. & You, Inc. was started in 2003 with the goal of teaching youth of all ages the sport of archery. Whether you want to shoot like Katniss in the Hunger Games, Merida in Brave, your favorite Olympian archer in the Olympics, or like Robin Hood himself, we are the company you have been looking for!

We are Olympic certified archery coaches as well as NASP certified archery coaches. We have offered summer archery lessons all around the city for the last few years, and this year, we have the great opportunity to teach indoor archery lessons on Thursday evenings at the Salvation Army Facility in Independence, MO in their gymnasium. Classes are open to all ages, from age 2 to Adult. Classes begin September 26 and go for 8 weeks, ending November 14, 2013. There are two class times to choose from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. The second class session will begin again January 9 and go through February 27, 2014, and the third class session will begin March 6 and go through April 24, 2014. Classes are $15 per class per person. Classes are limited to 15 participants per class. Do not wait, sign up today at http://cbayou.org/book-now/!

For basic archery skills, we provide the equipment, you just come and enjoy the archery fun. For intermediate, advanced, or JOAD (Junior Olympic Archery Development) classes, you will need to bring your own equipment. To be able to participate in our archery classes (whatever level), you will need to pre-register you and/or your child(ren) at our website by the day before each session beginning at http://cbayou.org/book-now/.

Since starting this organization, along with the help of many wonderful volunteers and staff, we have taught more than 8000 youth and their families how to shoot a bow and arrows. Whether for a festival or youth group, a birthday party or church event, at different events for sporting goods stores, 3D events, scout troops, and everything in between, we have given kids and adults an exciting passion to explore, the sport of archery! One of the parents called it giving their child the “archery bug.” Let us give you and/or your child(ren) the “archery bug” too!
