Northland Giving Circle to award $30,000 grant

The program or project must provide basic needs of food, clothing and/or shelter to residents of Clay and/or Platte counties. Area nonprofits are asked to apply online for the $30,000 grant at

Since its inception, Northland Giving Circle has awarded $120,000 to help Northlanders. Past recipients are Shepherd's Center of the Northland, Northland Assistance Center, Operation Child in Need and Harvesters’ Back Snack Program.

Northland Giving Circle is a group of philanthropic and civic-minded individuals who benefit the Northland community through annual grants. Members donate $302.50 annually with $300 going directly toward our annual $30,000 grant; $2.50 covers administrative costs. The grant recipient is chosen by membership online voting.
