Mitzi Dulan Leads 5th Annual WALK! with Aegis Therapies Event for Seniors in Independence Five-Day Senior Wellness Program Event Promotes Active Aging and Healthy Lifestyles
WHO: ? Mitzi Dulan, a local and nationally-recognized nutrition and wellness expert, will lead the 5th Annual WALK! with Aegis Therapies 2013 event for active aging seniors. ? Monterey Park Nursing Center seniors, staff, families, members of the community and volunteers participating in wellness and physical activities.
WHAT: Mitzi Dulan will start the WALK! off by leading participants in planned activities and then in a walking activity through a planned route inside and outside of Monterey Park Nursing Center. Mitzi will then present a motivational healthy living talk about healthy foods and the importance of staying active on a daily basis and interacting with participants.
The WALK! with Aegis Therapies is a five-day celebration presented by EnerG™ by Aegis wellness program and the International Council on Active Aging® (ICAA) during Active Aging Week for thousands of senior patients, their families, staff , and community members at more than 700 registered communities across the nation. Each day features a 15- to 30-minutes walking activity and additional wellness activities.
