Kansas City nonprofit Celebrates 25 years by hosting medical equipment donation drive
Kansas City, MO., September 12, 2013 – The Coalition for Independence (CFI) will be celebrating its 25th Anniversary this September. As part of its celebration week, CFI will host a durable medical equipment donation drive at the World War I Museum at Liberty Memorial, 100 W 26 St., Kansas City, Missouri. All donated equipment will be brought to CFI’s offices where it will be cleaned, repaired and then redistributed to those in need. The donation drive is from 4-6 p.m. on Thursday, September 12. Look for CFI’s truck and CFI staff members who will be available to help unload donated items. CFI accepts donations of wheelchairs, walkers, power wheelchairs, hospital beds, scooters, pediatric equipment, etc...
