Event will aid early education center

On Saturday, Sept. 14, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. the Northland Early Education Center will host the 12th Annual Diamond K Ranch Party & Auction in Kearney at the Diamond K Ranch, located at 22605 NE 148th St.

The Northland Early Education Center is a 501 (c)3 not-for-profit early education center and preschool in the Northland with a mission to provide early education and therapeutic intervention for children age’s birth to five who have special needs alongside their typically developing peers in a fully inclusive environment based on age, not developmental level.

As the largest annual fundraiser Northland Early Education Center hosts, the Ranch Party & Auction raises funds to help provide these essential services for children and families in the Northland.

The Diamond K Ranch Party & Auction is a fun filled family event with something for everyone. There will be live music, a variety of live and silent auction lots, including; a vacation getaway with airfare to Solitude Mountain Resort, a Branson package, Mizzou Tiger football tickets, a Chiefs game day package and more.

For the kids there will be hayrides, balloon artists, face painting and a moonwalk. Tickets may be purchased through the NEEC website (www.neeckids.org) or at the school, which is located at 8630 N. Oak Trafficway in Kansas City, Mo.

Tickets are $40 for adults, $15 for children age's four to 12 and children three and younger are free. Tickets include dinner, drinks and a night of family fun for everyone.
