The American Marketing Association of Kansas City announces Board of Directors for 2013-14
(Kansas City, Mo. - July 29, 2013) - The American Marketing Association of Kansas City (AMA-KC) announced its board of directors for 2013-14. "I am excited to get to continue to work on the AMA-KC board with such an outstanding group of marketers," said Emily Esparza, president, AMA-KC. “Our board has been working very hard to ensure this year will have some of the best marketing programs in the area. We encourage all area professionals to attend one of our upcoming events and benefit from all the AMA-KC offers.” Last year, the AMA recognized the AMA-KC chapter with a Chapter Excellence Award for Programming. With nearly 300 professional members in the Kansas City area and students linked through popular collegiate programs, the AMA-KC consistently contributes valuable resources to its members, including their chapter newsletter, social and networking events, annual seminars and monthly professional development topics, featuring top level marketers from local and national companies such as IBM North America, Kraft Foods, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Roasterie, Southwest Airlines, Facebook, Google, Nike and Disney. The AMA-KC plans on continued excellence in this year’s monthly professional development topics and speakers. The first event is Tuesday, August 27 at the Google Fiber Space in Westport about how Google’s CEO helped protect kids from the flu using shareable information. On Sept. 24, the topic will be generational differences in the workplace, features the owner of Dynamic Dialog and will be held at Lidia’s Italian Restaurant.
