Anthony 'AO' Oropeza exhibits art on First Friday Art at H2B Architects

Kansas City, KS – July 19, 2013: AOART5 LLC is pleased to announce the first, Friday Art exhibition of AOART5's Owner and Lead Designer, Anthony “AO” Oropeza. It will feature new and older works at H2B Architects, inc. located in the KC Crossroads District on August 2, 2013 from 6-8:30pm.

The exhibit will feature art from the Kansa City native, and the work will consist a variety of themes like, sports, music, latin culture and it also feature Oropeza's comic book art work from his comic book creation, the bilingual comic book super hero “AMIGOMAN”.
Oropeza's use of color, balance and composition are very important and effective in his work. For this show his versatility, skill and overall flexibility in his work and technique will show without a doubt. For example, his most recent sports pieces of BMA Foundation inspiration, Brian Alselmo and USA Fast Pitch Softball Nationals player Jaime Garcia, Jr, consist of both design and portrait qualities along with his abstract style of the “And The Pitch...” piece. His painting of Saint Mother Teresa shows a softer yet detailed tone in style. There will also be pieces that have a simplistic touch with the focal point being the lone subject, as shown in his piece on Kansas City Royals Hall of Fame great, George Brett.

Anthony “AO” Oropeza lives and creates his art in the KC Metro area and has been an artist for over 30 years. His portfolio and talents keeps growing along with his reputation as a painter, designer, consultant, writer and comic book artist in the Kansas City area.

With his AMIGOMAN creation, he visits schools across the metro show students his team's work, discusses his process and explains how important school is to the life of a comic book artist, writer and creator.
