Shepherd’s Center of the Northland Connecting Older Adults to Benefits
Shepherd’s Center of the Northland has announced Link-AGE, a new benefits connection program for adults over sixty who reside in Platte County. Link-AGE is providing a “person-centered” approach in helping clients discover public and private programs that help pay for Medicare plans, prescription drugs, energy bills, housing/rent, meals, legal services, medical costs and in-home services as well as other helpful information and resources for older adults and caregivers.
There is no cost for this service, but donations are gratefully accepted. To schedule a benefits screening, contact Miranda Wilson, MSW, the coordinator for Platte County Link-AGE at Shepherd’s Center of the Northland, at (816) 452-4536 or e-mail: email@example.com.
