American Sport Karate Centers Recognized for Integrating Special Needs Students in the Martial Arts

American Sport Karate Centers, located at K-7 and 83rd, know as a martial arts school that produces world class competitors watched one of there own reach new heights. Dr. Kimberly Harrison a 5th degree blackbelt at the school was one of an elite group selected to present at the National Martial Arts Instructors Conference in Las Vegas, NV. Dr. Harrison Spoke to over 300 school owners and instructors about how to Integrate Special Needs Students in to Martial Arts classes. Dr. Harrison established a program including children and adults at American Sport Karate Centers with special needs and disabilities including mild-severe ADHD, Autism, Aspergers, Down Syndrome, Cerebral Palsey, Osteoarthritis, and other genetic and musculoskeletal problems.
