Lee Cross named Kansas Associated for Justice membership chairman

LEE CROSS NAMED KANSAS ASSOCIATION FOR JUSTICE MEMBERSHIP CHAIR Topeka, Kan.—The Kansas Association for Justice (KsAJ) announces Lee Cross, Overland Park, Kan., has been selected by his peers to serve as KsAJ’s 2013-14 Membership Chair. The Kansas Association for Justice is a statewide, not-for-profit professional association which champions individual and corporate responsibility and accountability, the right to trial by jury, independence of the judiciary and high standards of ethics. KsAJ’s members hold those who injure others accountable for their actions. Cross is the founder and managing member of the Cross Law Firm, LLC, in Westwood, Kan. He has practiced law in the Kansas City area since 2007. His law practice focuses on civil litigation, personal and catastrophic injury. Cross has been a member of KsAJ for five years. He completed his bachelor’s degree at The University of Kansas and earned his juris doctor from the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Law, where he served as an Articles Editor for the Urban Lawyer. In 2010, Cross was a member of a legal team that was named a Finalist for Trial Lawyer of the Year by the Public Justice Foundation.
As Membership Chair, Cross is responsible for reviewing and addressing the types of practice and practitioners the association wishes to serve, and developing policies and programs to support those members and their clients. KsAJ serves Kansas trial lawyers through continuing legal education, public affairs initiatives, and legislative advocacy.
