Busker Ball Previews the best act at the Lawrence Busker Festival

LAWRENCE BUSKER FESTIVAL Presents the BUSKER BALL

The Lawrence Busker Festival takes place August 23 – 25 with over a 20 different acts performing on the streets of Downtown Lawrence, KS. The scene is bound to be exciting and well attended like years in the past so the Busker Festival is presenting a preview show that will allow patrons to see the best performers inside and in one place.

The Busker Ball on Thursday August 22nd will present performers with a variety of unique skills and talents. Peter Rabbit is an award winning bucket drummer who will play his rapid fire style on over a half dozen plastic buckets. Cate the Great returns with her amazing display of one handed acrobatic balances and juggling skills.The World Unicycling Champ, Jamey Mossengren shows up for the first time and the comedy and skills of a wild west cowboy will be performed by Kansas City’s own T. The Busker Ball will be on Thursday August 22nd at the Granada Theater, 1020 Massachusetss, starting at 7pm. Tickets are $5 for kids and $8 for adults. Tickets available online or at the door. Food and drinks will be available for purchase inside.

A completely different take on summer’s multitude of Festivals and Fairs, Lawrence Busker Festival is a breath of zany fresh air. Music, performances, and a little extra, the festival is three full days of tremendous talent.
