SKW IS GROWING THEIR WORKFORCE AND ADDS SEVERAL NEW EMPLOYEES
Shafer, Kline & Warren, Inc. welcomes several new employees to their team
Lenexa, Kansas, June 27, 2013 – Shafer, Kline & Warren, Inc. (SKW), a professional engineering and land surveying firm offering services for planning, design, construction and operation of oil and gas pipelines, public infrastructure, water/wastewater utilities, and commercial/institutional development is pleased to announce the following have joined the firm:
Lynn DiPlacito – Marketing Coordinator Lynn DiPlacito joins SKW as a Marketing Coordinator supporting the Water Resources group. She has been in the Kansas City AEC industry for over 10 years. She formerly worked for an Engineering firm in Blue Springs, and most recently for a national Architectural firm with offices in Kansas City. She is also an Adjunct Faculty member at the University of Kansas. Lynn is currently the incoming President for the Society of Marketing Professional Services (SMPS) Kansas City chapter.
Dave Macaulay – Technical Writer Dave Macaulay joins SKW as a Technical Writer supporting both SKW Enterprise Solutions and SKW Corporate. Prior to joining SKW Dave spent 15 years as a freelance writer specializing mostly in the Architecture, Engineering & Construction (AEC) industry focused especially on sustainable design topics. Dave has created/written a number of websites and blogs, many articles for national AEC magazines, and published three books on architecture and engineering. He has also worked as a magazine editor for three different magazines focused on construction and engineering.
Wayne Kelly – Project Manager, SKW Enterprise Solutions, Inc. As Project Manager for SKW Enterprise Solutions, Wayne Kelly brings more than 12 years of experience in automated systems design and programming systems for pipeline monitoring and control, as well as a broad array of projects involving water purification and food processing. His expertise with supervisory HMI and SCADA software and PLC programming capabilities offers SES clients a unique and varied asset for all types of oil, gas and water industry control systems. Previously, he served as a design engineer, research scientist and technical manager, charged with leading control system upgrades, equipment and monitoring design, standards development, and documentation.
Marc Tinio – Software Engineer, SKW Enterprise Solutions, Inc. Marc Tinio joins SKW Enterprise Solutions as Software Engineer to focus on PLC and HMI control system design for a wide range of oil, gas and water applications. He has experience with a wide array of design and configuration tools for automation, system engineering, workflow modeling and SCADA communications, as well as real-time operations management and virtualization software. Previously, he worked as a senior design engineer responsible for PLC and HMI programming and system upgrades at multiple U.S. and international manufacturing sites for a Fortune 500 company.
Caitlin Meyer – Software Engineer, SKW Enterprise Solutions, Inc. A recent graduate of the Missouri University of Science and Technology, Caitlin Meyer joins SKW Enterprise Solutions as Software Engineer to focus on PLC and HMI control system design for a wide range of oil, gas and water applications. She has experience with a wide array of design and configuration software for automation, system engineering and visualization platforms.
