June 25, 2013 – Kansas City, MO. The National MS Society Mid America Chapter is thrilled to bring the original Dreamgirl, Jennifer Holliday, to Kansas City on July 19. The two-time Grammy winner and Tony Awarded for best Actress in a Musical will grace our city with her show stopping voice and captivating story as an individual living with MS on Friday, July 19 as the keynote speaker for the MS Society’s On the Move Luncheon being held in Brandmeyer Hall at Kauffman Performing Arts Center.

Ms. Holliday is a legend in music and musical theater and will share her professional journey and experience of living with MS through inspirational song and motivational sessions during the 2013 On The Move Luncheon. “The National MS Society is thrilled to bring Jennifer Holliday to Kansas City for this event,” said Kay Julian, Mid America Chapter President. “To be able to listen to Ms. Holliday’s inspiring story as an individual living with MS and her tremendous talent as a Broadway actress and singer in the iconic Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts, will be a truly fantastic experience.”
