Come Visit Waldo's Gorgeous Gardens!

WPHA Garden Tour 2013 Sunday June 23, 1-4 p.m. Free and Open to the Public

The Ward Parkway Homes Association neighborhood includes some wonderfully expert and creative gardeners, so please join us as we showcase their talents. Enjoy free snacks while your hosts show you their gardens, answer your questions and offer some tips. Our host gardens are located east of Ward Parkway, west of Wornall Road and between Gregory (71st) and 75th streets. Your hosts include participants in the recent Master Gardeners of Greater Kansas City Tour, several who have been maintaining wonderful gardens in this Waldo neighborhood for many years, and a professional landscaper.

Our Lineup of gardening stars:

Tom and Valli Hogan, 1025 West Gregory (on the south side of Gregory)

Cody Hogan and Peter Crump, 7411 Summit (north of 75th St.)

Colette Eastwood, 7400 Madison (between Belleview and Summit)

Donald Martin, 519 West 74th St. (just off the corner of 74th and Pennsylvania)

Friends of Hale Cook community garden, near the corner of 74th and Jefferson

Mike Allmon 7334 Belleview (south of 73rd Street).

Mike is the proprietor of Complete Turf & Landscape and, like all our expert gardeners, will be pleased to share his knowledge with visitors.
