Splash 4 Cash event for youth is July 4 at Roeland Park Aquatic Center

Splash 4 Cash is the name of a special event for youth which will take place on July 4 at the Roeland Park Aquatic Center, 4843 Rosewood, Roeland Park.

For this event, change will be placed in different areas of the main pool for each of three age groups and participants will have an opportunity to dive in and collect as many coins as they can. Contact between participants is strictly prohibited. Age groups are: toddlers to six years old; seven to nine year olds; and ten to 12 years old. All ages groups will go at 12:15 p.m.

Normal RPAC summer admission costs apply. For ages three through 59, admission is $6 for Roeland Park residents, $7 for Johnson County residents, and $8 for nonresidents. For ages 60 and older, admission is $5.50 for Roeland Park residents, $6.50 for Johnson County residents, and $7.50 for nonresidents. Admission for ages two and under is free, regardless of residency. Season and annual passes, as well as multi-visit punch cards and Northeast Pool Superpasses are other admission options.

The Roeland Park Aquatic Center is owned by the city of Roeland Park and operated by the Johnson County Park & Recreation District. For more information about this event, call (913) 432-1377.
