Heartland Cinderella Pageant names 2013 Winners

The Heartland Cinderella Scholarship Pageant crowned their 2013 Regional Royalty on Sunday night at Forum Hall on the K-State University campus. Tayler Ray Risner of Lindsborg, Kansas claimed the title in the 3-6 year old division, Maggie Peterson of Smith Center, Kansas claimed the 7-9 year old title, and Ashley Stringfellow of Wichita, Kansas claimed the 13-17 year old title. The phases of competition included interview, talent, casual wear and party dress. These young ladies will represent the states of Kansas and Nebraska at the International Cinderella Finals held in Las Vegas at the end of July, where they will compete for over $100,000 in scholarships and prizes. The trio’s triumphant walk across the stage is just the beginning of a journey that will take them to every corner of Kansas and Nebraska during their reign as the Heartland Cinderella Royalty.
They will be seen hosting local Cinderella Pageants throughout Kansas and Nebraska beginning in September 2013. Local winners will move on to the regional finals, and possibly the international competition next summer. Heartland Royalty will also make appearances in parades, fairs, and non-profit fundraising events throughout the area.

The 2013 Heartland Cinderella Pageant Winners include: Tot Division (3-6) Overall Winner – Tayler Ray Risner, Lindsborg KS Beauty Winner – Zoey Early, OP, KS Personality Winner – Adalynn Nicholson, Wichita, KS Photogenic Winner – Jorja Boller, Beatrice, NE

Mini Miss Division (7-9) Overall Winner – Maggie Peterson, Smith Center, KS Beauty Winner – Lilliana McIntosh, Manhattan, KS Talent Winner – Haiden Mackey, Wichita, KS

Teen Division (13-17) Overall Winner – Ashley Stringfellow, Wichita, KS Beauty Winner – La’Cacia Anderson, Gardner, KS

The pageants emcees were; Meredith Holland Thompson, Miss Rodeo Kansas 2009; Amber Larson, New Mexico’s Cinderella Mini Miss 2005; and Sean Larson, Cinderella International Emcee and performer. The judge’s panel included: Elizabeth Stephens, Mrs. Kansas 2013; Genae Denver; Ashlen Sims; and Brandy Veatch. The International Cinderella Scholarship Pageant, founded in 1976, hosts state and regional competitions throughout the United States. It is one of the oldest and largest natural children’s pageants in the world. More than just a beauty pageant, Cinderella is a youth development scholarship program that offers many opportunities for achievement and recognition to ambitious children, teens and young adults.
