Scott Stuewe brings love songs to Kansas City
Music of the heart permeates the Uptown Arts Bar on Friday, May 31st, from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. at the Uptown Arts Bar, 3611 Broadway Blvd., Kansas city, Missouri.
Scott Stuewe's songs first came to large audiences in the late 1980s in New England. Craig Eastman and the Sundogs featured Scott's lead vocals, percussive guitar style and memorable tunes in their sold-out shows. Now, the artist makes the rounds as a solo act with his new crop of "adult love songs". Most of the instrumentation, including percussion and bass is performed only with Scott's guitar playing. The melodies have roots in swing and show-tunes with a touch of rockabilly thrown in. Compares to current artists M. Ward, David Wilcox and Jason Mraz.
