Janay A trunk show slated May 24-25 at Gown Gallery
Janay Andrews is bringing her Janay A Eco Bridal line home to Kansas City for a trunk show from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday and Saturday, May 24-25, at The Gown Gallery, 1901 Main St. in Kansas City.
She is returning from a successful Web Altered pop-up-shop designer event in New York City, and will be showing many of the other eco-minded designers’ gowns along with new designs of her own.
All dresses are hand-tailored in her new Janay A Handmade shop at 5939 Woodson Rd. in Mission, Kan. Every Janay A design features a surprise detail such as hidden pockets, cut-out backs and removable under-skirts to turn the gown into a party frock.
“I’m committed to the belief that a wedding dress should stay true to the bride’s environmental heart without sacrificing her unique style,” Andrews says.
