Show Me Shoes Foundation Presents the 3rd Annual Prom Project:Annual Prom Project Local non-profit organization gives back to community by donating dresses for area high school students prom

(Kansas City, MO) March 21, 2013 - This year the Show Me Shoes Foundation will hold the 3rd annual Prom Project April 13, 2013 from 10am-3pm at Swope Parkway Health Center 3801 Blue Parkway (Building C). For the past two years the Foundation has given girls in the Kansas City metropolitan area the opportunity to shop for prom dresses and shoes at no expense to them or their families.

This event will be open to all high school girls attending prom this year. The girls will have a chance to choose from a huge selection of dresses, shoes, and get free consultations for hair and makeup. A live DJ will be in attendance to enhance the experience and refreshments will also be served as girls try on their dresses. Once they've found the perfect dress a gifting suite will be setup and they will be able to receive a complimentary gift bag filled with gifts from local sponsors.

“This year our goal is to reach as many young women as possible, every young lady deserves the opportunity to have the BEST prom and I’m glad that we can help make that happen” - Shi’von Bullock Founder of Show Me Shoes Foundation

Dress donations are being taken from February 1-April 1, 2013 at multiple locations throughout the Kansas City area. Over the last two years more than 250 dresses have been donated so these young women could have a memorable prom. Show Me Shoes is honored to have served more than 150 girls these last two years and hope to add more to the list for years to come.
