Wineteer Construction, Announces Two Customized Brands: LifeWise Renovations and MODbath, the art of home renovation tailored to specific demographics

One of Kansas City’s long-standing, family-owned construction companies, Wineteer Construction announces the development of two divisions within the company, LifeWise Renovations and MODbath. Wineteer Construction focuses on traditional, comprehensive design/build services with an emphasis on craftsmanship, customization and customer relations. With the development of LifeWise Renovations and MODbath, these two divisions will bring a new dimension to the typical design/build concept by focusing on the technologically savvy, younger demographic, as well as those who may need alternations in the home due to unexpected life changes and/or aging.

LifeWise Renovations has already made a name for itself in the accessibility and aging remodeling arena. Led by Kathy Dodd, a veteran home care nurse and industry executive expertise, coupled with the team’s in-house occupational therapist, they’re able to make it possible for people to live safely and comfortably at home regardless of age or physical ability. By designing customized, attractive and functional homes for any life stage, LifeWise is able to provide a unique service to the aging-in-place and post-acute care demographic. MODbath, inspired by an acronym for “My Own Design,” is the digital brainchild of Vice President of Business Development, Katy Dodd. As a solution for young, working professionals who need affordable, time-sensitive, streamlined bathroom updates, MODbath is a perfect home renovation fix. To challenge the renovations industry standard, MODbath puts the bulk of the decision making process in the hands of the consumer with a web-driven design process focused on pricing transparency, fast turnarounds, and an excellent user experience. “This is a turning point for my family and my business,” says Mike Dodd, Founder and President of Wineteer Construction “We began serving residential remodeling clients in 1988 and have enjoyed growing that business while also creating a niche for ourselves in the universal design and aging in place market. We decided to do a massive re-brand to all parts of our business to create a modern, relevant family of brands that stand together – like us. This is our chance to make sure the community that has supported us over the last 25 years knows we’re here for them through all stages in life.”

The Kansas City community is invited to meet these two new divisions of Wineteer Construction during the National Association of the Remodeling Industry (NARI®) 16th Annual Remodeled Homes Tour, April 27-28. Guests will get a feel for each brand’s specialization by viewing the multiple display rooms in the home, located at 1008 W. 66th Street, Kansas City, MO.
