UK Artists Open Greenlease Gallery Exhibit

Artists and curators Dawn Woolley and James Moore will open their exhibit in the Greenlease Gallery, Friday, April 5 with an artist talk at 6:30 p.m. followed by a reception from 7 to 9 p.m. Woolley and Moore create their art through different disciplines, but their works reflect threads of conceptual likeness. Based in Cardiff, Wales, Woolley and Moore produce works that are fantastical in seriousness yet tempered with a limber sense of humor. Woolley, a photographer and video artist from England, and Moore, a painter from Wales, will present their work in an exhibition co-curated by Greenlease Gallery Director Anne Pearce and Kansas City artist Grant Miller. The exhibit will run through May 4. The Greenlease Gallery is located between Van Ackeren and Sedgwick halls on the Rockhurst University campus, 54th Street and Troost Avenue. The gallery is open to the public from noon to 5 p.m. Thursday – Saturday. For more information, contact Anne Pearce at
