West Point Society of Greater Kansas City Celebrates Founder's Day

Kansas City, Missouri — The West Point Society of Greater Kansas City is pleased to be hosting our annual Founder’s Day Dinner Banquet:

Date: April 6, 2013 Start Time: 5:30 PM Location: The Kansas City Club, 918 Baltimore Avenue in downtown Kansas City Guest Speaker: The Honorable Ike Skelton

The evening starts with Benny Havens social followed by dinner and dancing. We are delighted to have as our keynote speaker the Honorable Ike Skelton, former U.S. Congressman from Missouri and the 2012 Thayer Award honoree by the United States Military Academy at West Point.

Founders Day is celebrated annually by graduates and friends of the Academy throughout the United States and the world. On March 16, 1802, Thomas Jefferson declared West Point, New York as site of the country's Military Academy. West Point is world renowned as the premier leadership institution educating and training our country's future leaders.

We invite all alumni and friends of West Point to join us on the 6th for a night of fellowship, dinner and dancing. Cost to attend is $70 per person for dues-paid members and their spouses, and $80 per person for non-members.
