GREATER KANSAS CITY INTERNATIONAL AUTO SHOW® IS MARCH 6-10 AT BARTLE HALL

February 20, 2013...KANSAS CITY, Mo.... Imagining yourself in a new car, crossover, SUV, van or truck? You can see all the vehicles you dream about at the Greater Kansas City International Auto Show March 6-10 at Bartle Hall. It’s your one chance this year to see hundreds of new vehicles all under one roof. Show hours are 5 PM to 10 PM on March 6; 10 AM to 10 PM March 7, 8 and 9; and 10 AM to 6 PM on March 10.

Special Attractions Electric Ave - Visit Electric Avenue, a collection of the newest plug-in electric vehicles from major automakers. Come check out plug-in hybrid-electric vehicles that get upwards of 100 miles per gallon, or all-electric vehicles. Vehicles on display include the Tesla S, Fisker Karma, Chevy Volt, Nissan Leaf, Ford Focus Electric and Mitsubishi MiEV. Electric Avenue is brought to you by the Electrify Heartland EV Coalition. For more information, check out ElectrifyHeartland.org. Ride and Drives - Experience how your favorite vehicles perform on the road at five Ride and Drives. Get behind the wheel of the latest models from Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge, Ram and Fiat; Scion; Ford; Mazda; and Toyota. Go to kcautoshow.com for specific vehicles and hours of operation. Army Strong then and now - Want to get a first hand look into what it’s like to be soldier? Visit interactive exhibits and check out a display of Army vehicles including a Stryker, M1083 medium tactical vehicle (MTV), M117 armoured security vehicle (ASV) and vintage Jeeps.

Ticket Prices $11 for adults, $6 for children ages eight through 12, and free admission for children seven and under. Military, police and fire personnel are admitted free with ID. $1 discount coupons, good toward an adult admission any day, are available at area automobile dealers affiliated with the Automobile Dealers Association of Greater Kansas City and at kcautoshow.com. Or use your Price Chopper Rewards card at the box office for $1 off each adult admission. Coupons good for two adults admissions on Wednesday, Thursday or Friday for $16 are available on the website. Tickets are available at the box office any show day or through ticketmaster.com.
