Data Locker Honored at the 12th Annual Thinking Bigger 25 under 25® Awards

On Saturday, February 23, Data Locker, along with 24 fellow entrepreneurial honorees and more than 600 of their supporters gathered to celebrate small business at the 12th annual 25 Under 25® Awards in the Imperial Ballroom at the downtown Marriott, Muehlebach Tower. Hosted by Thinking Bigger Business Media, the awards ceremony honored the top 25 companies in Kansas City with fewer than 25 employees.

The Magic of Thinking Bigger was the theme at a black-tie, red-carpet event with award recipients taking the stage as videos portrayed their accomplishments and a room full of supporters applauded their successes. The glitz and glam of the room full of passionate entrepreneurs and their supporters was nothing more than magical. Although the magic of small business comes from each and every business owner as they take risks and put in their hard work on a day-to-day basis, it was just as magical to be honored for thinking bigger.

Data Locker is an innovative provider of data encryption solutions. DataLocker products are easy to use with no drivers or software install to operate and packs hardware based, military grade 256-bit AES encryption to keep your data simply secure. Demand for secure storage hard drives has grown dramatically in key federal government, financial services, legal and small business markets. Compliance requirements are a driving factor and Data Locker continues to provide encryption solutions worldwide.

The 25 Under 25® Awards were conceived 11 years ago by Thinking Bigger Business Media President Kelly Scanlon as a way to honor small businesses in Kansas City and the contributions they make to the economy and the community. The awards program was launched in 2002 to coincide with the 10-year anniversary of the Kansas City Small Business Monthly, now Thinking Bigger Business magazine. This year’s 25 Under 25® winners were chosen from more than 1,200 nominations.
