Amigos' Mexican Dinner set for March 3 at Miege High School

Amigos de las Américas, a chapter of Kansas City-area high school and college-age students participating in a summer of service in Latin America, will hold their annual Mexican Dinner on Sunday, March 3 at Bishop Miege High School from 11:30 a.m.-2 p.m.

Volunteers will serve a delicious Mexican buffet to raise money to help with the costs involved in transportation to and from Latin America and projects including community development, public health and youth leadership programs.

There also will be a raffle for four court-side seats to KU's home basketball game on Senior Night.

Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for students. Children under four years old are free.

Bishop Miege High School is located at 5041 Reinhardt Drive in Roeland Park, Kansas, just north of Shawnee Mission Drive and west of Mission Road . Tickets are available through Amigos volunteers or may be bought at the door.
