Colliers International announces recent transactions

KANSAS CITY, Missouri (February 15, 2013) – Colliers International, a leading global real estate services and investment firm, today announced the following transactions.

Sales

(December 26, 2012) Amcor Rigid Plastics USA, Inc sold a 171,000 square foot industrial building located at 9939 Widmer Road, Lenexa, Kansas to DaVinci Roofscapes, LLC. Ed Elder, SIOR, Tom Haverty, and John Stafford, CCIM of Colliers International negotiated the transaction on behalf of the Seller, and Buyer was not represented.

(December 31, 2012) Brentwood Plaza, LLC sold 10.83 acres located at 151st and Brentwood, Olathe, Kansas to Walmart Real Estate Business Trust. Kimberly Tranbarger of Colliers International negotiated the transaction on behalf of the Seller, and Pat Peery of Lane4 represented the Buyer.

(January 29, 2013) Great Southern Bank sold a 29,900 square foot office building located at 8960 Commerce Drive, DeSoto Commons, Kansas to DeSoto Investments. Phil James, SIOR and Adam Tilton of Colliers International negotiated the transaction on behalf of the Seller, and the Buyer was not represented.

(January 9, 2013) Renee Standish sold a 7,580 square foot industrial building located at 6101 Kansas Avenue, Kansas City, Kansas to PronTow, LLC. John Stafford, CCIM of Colliers International negotiated the transaction on behalf of the Seller, and the Buyer was not represented.

Leases

(October 25, 2012) Inland One, LLC leased 25,080 square feet of industrial space located at 14720 W 105th Street, Lenexa, Kansas to Scott Rice Office Works. Tom Haverty and Ed Elder, SIOR of Colliers International represented Tenant, and Terry O’Leary of Land Development Strategies LLC represented the Landlord in the transaction.

(November 15, 2013) HRPT Lenexa Properties Trust leased 15,000 square feet of industrial space located at 9900 Pflumm, Units 25-29, Lenexa, Kansas to Brightmarks, LLC. John Stafford, CCIM and Ed Elder, SIOR of Colliers International represented the Landlord, and Mark Feitz of LaSala-Sonnenberg Commmercial Realty, Co. represented the Tenant in the transaction.

(December 31, 2012) Kansas Industrial No. 1 leased 14,533 square feet of industrial space located at 15019 W 95th Street, Lenexa, Kansas to O-Ring Sales & Service, Inc. Tom Haverty of Colliers International represented the Landlord, and the Tenant was not represented.

(December 28, 2012) J&S Holdings, LLC renewed 10,940 square feet of office space located at 346 Maine Street, Lawrence, Kansas to Pediatric & Adolescent Medicine, PA. Kelvin Heck, SIOR, CCIM of Colliers International represented the Landlord, and the Tenant was not represented.

(December 10, 2012) Kansas Industrial No. 1 leased 6,128 square feet of industrial space located at 14847 – 14849 W 95th Street, Lenexa, Kansas to Protection One Alarm Monitoring, Inc. Tom Haverty of Colliers International represented the Landlord, and the Tenant was not represented.

(January 17, 2013) McGregor Interests Corrington, LLC leased 5,000 square feet of industrial space located at 1640 N Corrington Avenue, Kansas City, Missouri to Cash Register Sales. Cameron Duff, CCIM of Colliers International represented the Tenant, and Jack Allen of Karbank & Co. represented the Landlord in the transaction.

(November 27, 2012) William C. Glanville leased 4,000 square feet of industrial space located at 8167-8171 Cole Parkway, Shawnee, Kansas to Stones Shutters, LLC. John Stafford, CCIM of Colliers International represented the Landlord, and the Tenant was not represented.

(December 17, 2012) Continental Business Park, LLC leased 3,400 square feet of industrial space located at 21981 W 83rd Street, Shawnee, Kansas to W.F. Hurst Co., Inc. John Stafford, CCIM of Colliers International represented the Landlord, and the Tenant was not represented.

(December 26, 2012) Condor Investments, Inc. renewed 3,371 square feet of retail space located at 4931 West 6th Street, Suite 122, Lawrence, Kansas to Bank of America. Allison Vance Moore of Colliers International and Ryan Carmichael of Jones Lang LaSale co-brokered on behalf of the Tenant, and the Landlord was not represented.

(February 5, 2013) Saddle Properties leased 3,101 square feet of retail space located at 10559 Mission Road, Leawood, Kansas to New You, LLC. Mark Arensberg and Doug Weltner of Colliers International represented the Landlord, and Kimberly Tranbarger of Colliers International represented the Tenant in the transaction.

(January 14, 2013) HiPer Real Estate Holdings, LLC leased 2,000 square feet of industrial space located at 2920 Haskell Avenue, Lawrence, Kansas to Douglas County. Marilyn Bittenbender, SIOR, CCIM of Colliers International represented the Landlord, and the Tenant was not represented.

(December 21, 2012) American Century Realty renewed 2,214 square feet of office space located at 4520 Main Street, Kansas City, Missouri to The Shirley and Barnett Helzberg Foundation. Phil James, SIOR and Bryan Johnson of Colliers International represented the Landlord, and the Tenant was not represented.

(November 29, 2012) KCBS, LLC leased 1,596 square feet of industrial space located at 9300 NW 63rd Street, Unit 3, Parkville, Missouri to RMI Golf Carts. Doug Hedrick, SIOR, CCIM of Colliers International represented the Landlord, and John Stafford, CCIM of Colliers International represented the Tenant in the transaction.

(January 16, 2013) Free State Business Center, LC renewed 1,530 square feet of office space located at 1201 Wakarusa, Suite B5, Lawrence, Kansas to Kansas Golf Association. Allison Vance Moore of Colliers International represented the Landlord, and the Tenant was not represented.

(January 4, 2013) NorthStar Venture Group, LLC leased 1,038 square feet of office space located at 901 Kentucky, Suite 102, Lawrence, Kansas to Erin Medina, LLC and Sarah Danielle Castro. Allison Vance Moore of Colliers International represented the Landlord, and the Tenant was not represented.

(January 2, 2013) Star Fuel Centers, Inc. leased 900 square feet of retail space located at 8801 Johnson Drive, Merriam, Kansas to Subway Real Estate LLC. Mark Arensberg of Colliers International represented the Landlord, and Cory Skinner of Rottinghaus Co., Inc. represented the Tenant in the transaction.
