Jennifer Bennett lives in Granada, Spain with her husband Javier and their two children, Gabriela and Antón. Jennifer majored in English and theatre and film at Kansas University and holds a Master´s degree in theatre production from Central Washington University. She teaches theatre at a bilingual Catholic school and sings her original folk music with the help of her beloved ukulele. Jennifer also works as an actress in the Granada Children´s Theatre company "En la luna teatro" and sings in a "Tin Pan Alley" jazz group. She is the author of I am a Jayhawk! and co-author of A Tapestry of Tales. Jennifer, her husband, her two brothers and both her parents graduated from the University of Kansas.
Maureen Dean is self-taught, and first began using watercolor in 1994. Strongly influenced by the diversity of images and individuals in her world, she combines a unique and loving perspective with natural talent to create rich and sometimes even magical stories. Maureen currently resides in the Pacific Northwest, where she supports herself as a Legal Assistant.
