'100+ WOMEN WHO CARE' CHARITY PROGRAM SPREADS TO KANSAS CITY METRO

100 Women + 100 Dollars + 1 Hour = $10,000 for one local organization

Kansas City, MO – Ten local women are starting a new charity program, and they’re looking for your help. 100+ Women Who Care KC is a group of women who are interested in supporting the Kansas City Metro Area by contributing to local charities together as a unit to increase the impact. Commitment involves attending four (one each quarter), one hour meetings a year and pledging $100 per meeting for a total of $400.00 a year. Membership can also be done in pairs with each woman committing $50 per meeting.

At each meeting three members of the larger group are chosen at random and given the opportunity to present a 5 minute explanation of a local 501(c)(3) organization in need. There is a question and answer session after each presentation. At the end of all three presentations each member (or pair) in attendance gets to vote on the organization they believe is most deserving of the groups’ donations.

The winner is immediately announced at which time each of the 100+ women writes a check to the winning charity. The chosen charity then receives at least $10,000 in one hour’s time.

The first meeting of the new group will be held Thursday, March 21, 2013 at Louie’s Wine Dive in Waldo (7100 Wornall Rd) with an optional social starting at 5:30 pm and the meeting immediately following from 6:00-7:00 pm.

100+ Women Who Care KC turns your $100 into $10,000 or more in a matter of minutes, directly impacting the local community, all while encouraging women of like minds to meet new people and learn about unique charities.
