Animal Planet's Skipper Bivins due at Topeka Boat, RV and Outdoor Show

The Topeka Boat, RV & Outdoor Show returns to the Kansas Expocentre for another three-day event Friday, Show Hours are: Friday 3pm-8pm, Saturday 10am-7pm and Sunday 11am-4pm Ticket prices are: Adults $6.95, Military $5.95, Kids 6-12 $4.95, Kids under 12 free This family friendly event has something for every outdoor enthusiast, including hunting and fishing exhibits, and outfitters - plus one of the largest displays of boats and RVs under one roof with special show discounts all weekend long. This year’s event will include a special appearance by Animal Planet's hit show, “Hillbilly Handfishin”, Skipper Bivins. Bivins, the self-proclaimed “hillbilly” who takes tourists on noodling expeditions in muddy lakes, rivers and streams, will be here for a meet and greet autograph session on Saturday, February 9th, from 11am-1pm and 3pm-5pm.

Enjoy a full line up of seminars from fishing experts all weekend, hosted by “Clyde the Guide” (Clyde Holscher). The Mushroom King, Tom Weipert, will share his tips on hunting hundreds of varieties of mushrooms, along with awesome recipe ideas. The Women of KU Calendar Girls will be hosting autograph sessions on Saturday and Sunday from noon to 3pm.

Bring the kids to see the awesome outdoor displays, along with hunter’s education, kids in the outdoors events, and the archery and pellet range. There will also be hunting and personal watercraft simulators on-hand.
This year, Ron Browning will be bringing his amazing Non-Typical Skull Collection, along with his legendary Medusa deer mount. One of his mounts was recently ranked among the Top 25 in the world. These mounts will be on display for the first time for public viewing. Mr. Browning's ever changing displays are always a hunter's delight.
