An Elf's Day Off pool party for all ages planned on Dec. 21 at RPAC
A Elf's Day Off Pool Party for all ages is being planned for Dec. 21 at the dome-covered Roeland Park Aquatic Center, 4843 Rosewood, Roeland Park, by the Johnson County Park & Recreation District.
Participants will build gingerbread houses beginning at 10 a.m., eat lunch at 11 a.m., and then hit the warm waters of the indoor pool. Lunch will be provided, but participants are asked to bring one bag of goodies to share as they decorate their gingerbread houses. To find this program in the JCPRD’s Activities catalog and online listings, browse first under fun for all and then under special events. In the catalog and when using the website’s advanced search, look for the keyword “pool party.”
This program will take place beginning at 10 a.m. on Friday, Dec. 21. The cost for one three-hour event, including gingerbread houses and lunch, is $5 for adults and children over three and free for children under three.
The JCPRD's Activities catalog, with information and a registration form, is available for pickup at all Johnson County Library branches. For more information or to register, call (913) 831-3359. To register online and for updated program listings, visit the District's website at www.jcprd.com.
