Thanksgiving Week Deals at KC Pet Project – Pick Your Own Adoption Fees!

Kansas City, MO – Skip the crowds at the mall this week and give a homeless pet a reason to be thankful this Thanksgiving and beyond! From November 21st- 25th you pick any cat or dog in the Kansas City, Missouri Animal Shelter - or at our new Pet Adoption Center in Zona Rosa - and YOU get to choose the adoption fee. This special excludes puppies, kittens, and specialty breeds. Your adoption fee includes spay/neuter surgery, microchip, deworming, age-appropriate vaccinations and 30 days of Shelter Care insurance – a $400 value. Both locations will be closed on Thanksgiving Day, but will reopen Friday. The shelter is full of great dogs and cats, including purebred and small breeds, and they are all ready to go home with you! Short term foster homes are also needed this week for puppies or other dogs and cats that need some time out of the shelter.
